Couples Therapy

Breaking the loop you keep finding yourselves in.

For couples who still care, but keep ending up in the same painful place. In person in Philadelphia and online across Pennsylvania.

Who this is for

You love each other, or you wouldn't be looking. But somewhere along the way the same argument started repeating, the distance grew, and it began to feel more like managing a household together than actually being close. You may not even be fighting much anymore, just drifting.

Couples therapy isn't about deciding who's right. It's about understanding what keeps happening between you, and building something more honest and connected.

This might be a fit if…

  • The same conflict keeps cycling, no matter how it starts.
  • You feel more like roommates or co-managers than partners.
  • Conversations turn into criticism, defensiveness, or silence.
  • One or both of you has started to shut down or check out.
  • You want to feel close again but don't know how to get back there.

How we'll work together

I work systemically, meaning the focus isn't on blaming one person, but on the patterns the two of you fall into together, and the older stories each of you brings to it.

We'll slow those moments down, understand what's driving them, and practice new ways of being with each other that build connection instead of distance. The goal is not to prove who is right. It's to understand what keeps happening, and build a relationship that feels more connected, honest, and true.
